For the last few years DJ GEMSTAR has become a permanent fixture on the Australian dance scene. She is one of the most recognised DJ names in the industry holding down her very own weekly mix on the Gold Coast's biggest dance radio station 105.7 Radio Metro.
One of the most influential factors in her rising profile was her signing to dance label Central Station Records in 2010 to collaborate in mixing 'Wild Summer 2010'. The compilation went to number 10 on the Aria Albums chart as she rocked the Australian circuit on her national tour. GEMSTAR has again seen a rise in popularity due her blistering club sets touring throughout 87 different clubs both nationally and internationally. Her sounds is predominately house-electro, commercial and big room. 2011 saw her mix Australia's highest selling triple compilation CD "Pump IT" Volume 4. The CD peaked at #3 on the Aria Charts creating much buzz with the record industry heavy weights.
Focusing on production Gemstar has blown everyone away with her first track 'Can You Feel Me' featuring Jamie Lee Wilson. The track reached number 3 on the Radio Metro Dance Charts cementing her name as an up and coming producer. Her debut track was picked up by radio stations in New Zealand, Darwin, Melbourne, Canada and Newcastle. The track was also signed to Universal / LNG and included on the compilation "Pump IT" Vol 4 which gained a lot of support from her fans. Her follow up single "Losing my mind" is in the hands of labels at present and she is already in the studio working on her third single with Lady Lauryn.
GEMSTAR has supported some of the country's biggest acts such as The Stafford Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, Tydi, Baby Gee, Vandalism and Marcus Knight just to name just a few. This gifted girl has a string of high profile parties under her belt including Ed Hardy, Jagermeister Indy Party, Quiksilver Pro After Party, the exclusive official Playboy Girls Of Golf After Party , the officiall Fashion Tv New Years Eve party and not to mention The Pussy Cat Dolls and Rihannas dance crew after partys . Her nationwide fame has also landed her recent contracts with 4 new major sponsors Syn-Tec, Maneater Swimwear, Skullcandy and Coco Blonde Hair. She has also secured her spot playing at one of Australia's biggest dance festival Summafieldayze after smashing out 3 years of huge sets !
